Anyone knows which option (PE or Real Chain of Legend) give a better result in Merkava IIID's chain-balls armour?

Hi,

i did a Merkava 4 with the Legend chains, and I can tell you: it looks amazing. No way PE can give the same result. I have to warn you, making those balls and chains is a tedious job

In the late 90's, I did a Merkava I with scratchuilt ball and chain using jewelry chain, wire and tiny craft beads:
