I have been researching how to make your own molds for a while and I would now like to try making moulds and casting resin pieces. I need a semi flexible silicone for the mould that will last a number of casts.

Can anyone recommend specific brands and where to buy them, preferably in Australia, but if not international is fine as long as postage isn't too expensive.

Thanks

I am using "Smooth On" casting rubber 2 part, and Smooth On Casting resin, also 2 part. I will have to find a simple release agent.I made a perfect rubber mold over a roadwheel for a tank, but, didn't use any form of release agent, for the casting. So I was not able to extricate the finished roadwheel copy. I am going to try a quick spray of silicone lube, as a release agent,as that is fairly inexpensive
