I have a brand new 1/35 tamiya hunting tiger from the early 70s (the one with the engine and remote) but I don't have any instuctions. Does anyone know where I could get ahold of some?

A lot of instructions for Tamiya kits can be found on Hobby Search: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/plamo/ No guarantee though

Unfortunately not. I sent Tamiya an email and they said that they didn't hve the instructions anymore. I'm not too bothered about the engine, but do you think that another set of Tamiya hunting tiger instructions would suffice?

I suspect any similar instructions would be good enough to help you - I once inherited one of these from a friend, already built, and from what I remember, it was fairly basic, by modern standards especially. I suspect the body is one big moulding, so it's almost just getting the wheels on, the gun together then the hatches and a few details. If I recall correctly, the sprocket is a kind of ridged affair to drive rubber band type tracks that have no holes in them?
I notice by the way that one of these just went for $232.50 on Ebay. Are you sure you want to build it?

The money would be nice. But I inherited it from my dad (who's dad bought it for him) and he'd rather I built it.
