Watched Secrets of the Dead: Bugging Hitler's Soldiers a couple of days ago. It is quite interesting as all the quotes are what actual soldiers said. Highly recommend watching it, here:

I saw that, too. Very interesting to see how the program was run, and hear the comments made by the German officers and the German speaking recorders, many of whom were Jews who had managed to flee the Nazis.

It is great that most of the listening personnel were Polish. It also brings to light, that the regular Wermacht were very aware of the final solution and mass executions. It is too bad that Britain refused to declassify the transcripts for the Nuremberg Trials.
