I have the Aztek with tank.

I really like the tank, as the pressure is constant, with no surges you get from a tankless compressor. I am not sure if they have raised there prices drastically, but I bought mine at my local hobby store for about half the price shown on the website.

Darrell,

I picked up this compressor for Christmas, works very well its on demand so it only runs when you start the airbrush. It has a moisture trap already. Amazon ships it free. Grex has a good name in the hobby. When it got warm some water got by the trap but it wasn't critical. Might need to empty it more often. I had to get some adapters to fit Aztec and Badger airbrushes but they were fairly cheap and on Amazon.

Hi Darrell,

I bought a Badger Airstorm on the advice of a fellow modeller at my local B&M. It was expensive, but am totally satisfied with it. It runs so quiet with consistent pressure. Perfect match for my Badger 360 airbrush.

I have an Iwata Power Jet Pro. It's got a small tank on it so it has consistent pressure, it has a oil-free piston engine so no pulsation, and the compressor only turns on when it senses the pressure dropping. And when it does turn on, it's extremely quiet. You could get quieter with something like a Silentaire, but you'd being paying 2 to 3 times more for only a small reduction in noise.
