I got a strange email yesterday from a jc jones in the USA. Mr. Jones claimed he was disabled and was asking if I was interested in any kits he might have for sale. While I am cautious and was not interested in following up on this unsolicted email, I remember a great deal of discussion on the internet a while back about a Jonesy character who was not a reputable person. Anyone know if this is the same guy? Regardless, be careful if you are an ebay purchaser and receive a similar email.

I have not dealt with this Mr. Jones, but I have seen his posts for the last couple years in every modeling email group I am in. Every time his posts come up, I instantly see a bunch of posts warning of past dealings.

Again, I have not dealt with him, but with all I have heard, I don't think I will.

Buyer beware...

why cant this guy get stoped,
some body should email ebay,
and tell them about this guy or get in touch with the das office.
cause people like this gives ebay a made name,
a few weeks ago on the peoples court,
this lttle punk kid was selling i pods and when the poeple got the package it was bricks.
so the judge call ebay her self and the kid had to pay back the guy

Tazz: I made a report to ebay via their seller soliciting sales outside of ebay reporting form. They said they will investigate, but, due to their privacy policy, won't report the results to me.

KBM,
you can report him to his ISP as quite clearly what he is doing is sending you spam
send the email to the abuse dept at his ISP they will either warn him off or if enough
people report him for it may switch off /or suspend his acct remember revenge is a dish
best served cold also put your email address like this [email protected]
as if he is email farming it makes it not worth his while cutting and pasting addresses
hope this helps you some what

Jonesy was Jeff Jones of Michigan, so if it was this guy, avoid him. If anyone sees or hears of him on Armorama, let an administrator know please.
