Other than paying a small mortgage for Fruil metal tracks, how do I find out who manufactures a sink mark free track link, yet is priced competitively cheap? I've taken chance upon chance buying workable (et al) links only to receive them with sink marks...which immediately go back to the pile for posting on EBay. Even some of the Dragon (et al) smart links are known for sink marks...which is completely disappointing considering the $50-70 range of kits is pretty much the norm. Is there a data base that sifts through the chaft of sink mark-less track links??

Depends on the kit you have in mind. There's lots of track options out there, but which one is the best value depends on the subject.
