I have been researching for a while now. I am looking for the actual 1:1 outer diameter dimension of the return roller on the m1a1/2 Abrams.
I would prefer to have the full size dimension to start to scale down from versus scaling up. I am looking to build a drivable 1/2, 2/5, or 2/3 scale Abrams. This is the only wheel that I have been unable to get a dimension on. And I am not in a location close enough to an Actual Abrams to go and measure it.

I have National Guard duty this weekend, so I could possibly obtain the diameters of the Support Rollers.

If by "Return Rollers" you meant the front Tensioner Guide Roller, that is the same wheels as the Road Wheels AFAIK.

Just let me know if you want to check for you.

The return rollers are the 2 rollers along the top, I believe that they are between 11-13". they just support the track.

The Return/Support Rollers are 11" in diameter x 4" wide. I can provide you a detailed drawing in a few days of all of the roller dimensions if you need it. Just let me know.

Please be aware that drawing is for the three support rollers that are mounted where there is additional armor plate. The left rear Return/Support Roller has a longer, flared base mounting bracket. All of the Rollers are in-line on each side and the track rests with the guide teeth to the outside of the rollers.
