Based on our analysis of the AMPS judging process for the past few shows, we determined the need to provide training specifically designed for Table Captains. This training will focus on leadership and managing the flow at the judging table. In order to take this training, candidates must be AMPS certified judges and have judged at previous AMPS international and regional competitions. This training offers candidates an opportunity to take a closer look at leading a judging table and requires participating in at least two judging shifts as a Table Captain. Upon successfully completing this certification process the candidates will be awarded certification as an AMPS Table Captain.

If you are an AMPS certified judge who has judged at previous AMPS international and regional competitions and are interested in improving your judging leadership skills you should consider participating in this Table Captain certification. The classroom portion of this process will be conducted 18 April 2012, 7:00-9:00 PM at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center, Atlanta, GA.
