Please note: As of this posting date, there are 11 seats available for the Fort Benning tour which will take place all day Thursday, April 18th. Once these seats are gone, there will be no more tour buses added. Drivers traveling separately from the AMPS-hosted tour bus will NOT have access to the areas the tour will have on the post. If you are still undecided about reserving your seat for this tour, visit the AMPS homepage and go to the tour preview link set up by the AMPS Show Committee to give you an idea of what the tour will cover. Or you can simply look down one message and see all the cool pics that were posted the other day. In either way, you won’t be disappointed.

The tour will include access to about 200 + vehicles on display, visiting the restoration part of the museum and a tour of Armor School and have access to the collection on display which includes an M1A2 SEP, M3A3, M11127 Recon Stryker and an M1128 Stryker MGS.

Those who have already signed up or are planning to, PLEASE NOTE the following:

Entrance to Fort Benning – this will require some sort of government-issued ID card like a driver’s license, state ID card, current or retired military ID. We are still working on foreign visitor requirements and believe a valid passport will work, but still awaiting confirmation.

Lunch- lunch will be available at one of the Army Dining Facilities (i.e., mess halls) with the cost being 4.70 that includes meal, drink and dessert.

Don’t wait until tomorrow to reserve your spot for this ‘once in a lifetime’ tour. And if you haven’t reserved your room accommodations, you can go to the AMPS homepage (amps-armor.org) and reserve that room and register your entries for the show at the same time.
