Ahoy,

Contact,

Tally Ho!

I primed some old figures with a solvent paint and put them outside to cure. The next afternoon I found my old Airfix demolition Commando had made a new friend and guardian.

In the last photo, it looks like he has a pet.

That's so funny. Looks like a fisherman caught a spider crab!

The same thing happened to my Bat-Pod build after leaving outside over night after primer:

And here I thought I had the corner on that oddity. A couple of years ago I painted a set of the Glencoe pirates for a friend of mine to use on a cake. I took them outside and sprayed them with Dullcote and left them to dry. I went back outside to get them and they had all been covered with a cobweb. I guess spiders just aren't into scale modeling!!

I wish now that I had taken a picture.

Thanks for sharing.
Randy

PS. Thanks Jessica. I remember watching that as a lad.

Did you also wonder what his webs were sticking to when he was swinging above the roofs of all the buildings?

I don't think that we were supposed to question our hero and his abilities!!

Maybe they were stuck to Superman or something like that!!

Thanks,
Randy
