OK how come my rankicon isn't showing and I havn't gotten promoted either.

I see clearly your rankicon showing between your callsign and your avatar picture is your rank.
"Private E2" Stands above your callsign
Maybe you could give more clearly your problem as with your question now there seems not so much wrong

There are TWO ranks with US rank levels. The old default ranks (Base Visitor-Site Commander) and now we have US Army Enlisted Ranks. Some Private ranks also do not have an image until you reach the 2nd level.

To avoid confusion, you can always change the default rank system to one that encompasses the missing Army officer ranks:
Warrant Officer 1(formerly base visitor)
Chief Warrant Officer 2 (formerly private)
Chief Warrant Officer 3 (formerly private 1st class)
Chief Warrant Officer 4 (formerly corporal)
Master Warrant Officer 5 (formerly sergeant)
Second Lieutenant (formerly master sergeant)

Although going from MW5 to 2LT is like a backwards step, 2LTs do outrank all warrant officers.

I am thinking that this default rank will eventually be changed to the US Army officer rank progression starting at Lt. and going to 5-star General. Although it may be better to convert that rank system to the non-military modeling ranks and then build a new US Army officer rank group from scratch.

Sorry...that may have been my doing when I changed your callsign so it wasn't ALLCAPS.

I will need to look at the admin edit functions to make sure they aren't causing a problem like that.

Your rank must have somehow gotten set on "Show No Rank" again. Just go to your My Account/Profile page and reset it.

I too have not seen a rank. If I am reading the chart correctly 5-14 is Private but the next Sarge doesn't come until 40? What happens when you are 14-39? I am at 21 as of this writing

You are on US Enlisted ranks. Scroll down the ranks area you quoted and you'll see the progression for that set. The other default set is the one you were quoting. When I get the time that set is going to be re-configured as the US Officer ranks (Army).
