Okay...

Make sure you are sitting down before you begin to read this. Here are just a few of the seminar presenters AMPS 2013 Show is hosting to date:

Neil Stokes - The Russian BT-7 Family (Well, that should create a run on the Tamiya BT-7 kit and the assorted aftermarket items.)

David Doyle - Vehicle Research (Learn some basic research tips and tools from the guy who is always bringing us some great reference material.)

Mike Roof - Groundwork (If you've ever seen Mike's work, you will definitely not want to miss this seminar. It's gonna be fantastic. Oh, and he's a good speaker too!)

Rob Ervin - Resin Casting (Although Rob no longer wons Formations, he now lives on vicariously through resin; this time showing folks how to cast resin in our garage or basement. Better yet, your friend's garage or basement.)

Adam Wilder - Metal Effects and Finishes (If you've ever seen Adam's DVD on obtaining realistic metal finishes, well this looks to be the 'live' version and I'll bet he more entertaining at the seminar than the DVD, though the DVD is well worth purchasing for the reference library.)

Iain Hamilton - Weathering Part I - That same Iain of AK Interactive who helped get armor modelers addictd to AK Interactive products, and so glad he did, will be presenting a weathering seminar, hopefully on vehicles, but you'll have to attend to know for sure.)

Rick Lawler - Weathering Part II - Rick's work is fantastic and truly is in the company of guys like Adam Wilder, Mike Rinaldi, Chris Jarret and MIG. You gotta get to this one as well.

Mike Rinaldi - Weathering Part III - There appears to be a theme running in the seminar schedule. Do a search of Mike's work and you will quickly see he is a very talented man and you are sure to walk away with some tips and techniques to use on your next project. Let's just hope the weathering seminars don't conflict with one another.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS:

If you have not reserved your room for the 2012 AMPS International Show, it's quick and easy. Go to the AMPS homepage at amps-armor.org and follow the links to hotel reservations and do it soon if you want to get the AMPS Show room rates as the rooms are going fast.

FT. BENNING TOUR:

While you are on the AMPS homepage, be sure to sign up for the Fort Benning tour. This is an exclusive opportunity to see vehicles up close and personal and have plenty of time to take pics for the reference library. This really is a once in a life time opportunity, especially in conjunction with themajor armor modeling event anywhere in 2013. The tour schedule is posted on the AMPS homepage.

Don't forget; there's still time to pre-register your attendance and entries for the 2013 Show.

Hope to see you there!

weekend bump. Those who attended the Atlanta AMPS show last weekend got a preview of Mike Roof's seminar, and he really helps out for those who want to put some thought into their bases.
