What is happening at D&J Hobby in San Jose, CA?
I went there not too long ago, they say they are moving. I tried to find out where exactly they are moving to but didn't get even a hint. They have stuff marked on "sale" but only stuff people don't really want.
Knowing that Yannis Hobbies permanently closed down claiming that he is only moving "down the street" a few years ago, is this happening at D&J too? Maybe they are trying to sell off old stock, while selling off the rest of the regular stuff to model brokers / bulk buyers (i.e.: those who buy in bulk from estate sales with large model collections)?
If D&J is closing, then the ONLY hobby store with plastic model kits in the entire South Bay Area is HobbyTown USA in Sunnyvale! And they do not focus on model kits. Scary thought!
