Hi Jim,
I've been meaning for some time to ask - Is it normal to have to separately log in when I view the Galleries, if I'm already logged in on Armorama? I have to do this every time, and it seems a little redundant. (Not to mention inconvenient...) Also, when I finally do log in it rudely drops me to the Gallery home page rather than returning me to where I was - often a Campaign gallery where I wanted to add a picture!
Regards,
Tom

Login hassle with galleries

Do you browse to the sites using www.armorama.com or www.aerocale.co.uk by any chance? you'll find that when you click on the gallery links they take you to photos.kitmaker.net as these are two different domains the log on details can't transfer between the two.
If how ever you log on using armorama.kitmaker.net or aeroscale.kitmaker.net for example and go to the gallery the log on details should (more often than not) transfer across. The only time I have found this doesn't work is if someone has used an old link to an earlier version of the galleries that is now being redirected to the newer one.
Hope this helps

Perhaps that's the problem - I go in via Armorama.com. But I don't understand the techno-wizardry enough to know why it can't transfer login details up & down the network...

I agree the multiple log-ins are really annoying, especially when going to the gallery page, which then redirects you to gallery homepage. Jim, perhaps this could be solved in an easier way so the login details could indeed be transferred throughout the network?
