I can't change anything in my profile. ("Settings" -> "Modify Profile")
Page looks perfectly normal and I can access all the usual text fields and the radio buttons. If I modify a text field and press the "Save changes"-button I even get to the "Account information changed. Returning to your account page."-page. Problem is that nothing has changed anyway!
I have tried several of the fields ("Personal Signature:", "Your Link", "URL for Signature Image:" and "Your Bio/Background") and the radio button for "Page Background Color:". None of those stay put!
Temporary trouble or something more serious? Can someone else try this?
Magnus

When I chganged my email contact on settings it shows that my suscriber info has to be paid for $3.49 a month? Rank is changed from Army officer to Airforce Enlisted and I am now a "Contributing Writer" from "Editor at Large".

Hi Stephan,
Subscribing is optional, however ranks are now part of the subscriber options. Not sure why you have Air Force ranks as I thought it should default to Army Officer ranks instead.
Not sure what is going on with the Editor-at-large bit as that is what your profile is set to so it should be showing up correctly.
Some bugs obviously I will look into.
Thanks,
Jim

There was a bug in the site translation code I had modified yesterday. Thanks for pointing out the Ed-at-Large thing. Ironically if you are on Armorama it will say Contributing Writer as I changed it some years ago now.
What rank tree did you want to be? I have fixed this for everyone else so that your existing rank will not get updated or changed if you make a simple profile change. That is unless you are a subscriber and then it will change.
Cheers,
Jim

Greeting Jim,
I had chosen US Army Officer rank. I know that none of this is anything to worry about, but if we see unexplained changes its always good to touch base and see if its a system issue for all.
