Hello all. Great site. Beginning my first armor build in the next few days. Its an academy M-60A1 RISE PASSIVE. I'm building an exact replica of the M60 my dad operated with the 1st infantry division while stationed at panzer keserne, west Germany from 1983 to 1985.

Hello I'm new too. The M60A1 is a good build, I did the A3 version some years back. Ask your dad if he ever went on any REFORGER exercises. I would be in Germany every year almost for those, and would be amazed by the US Army armor. I was always glad they were on our side.

Yes. I have an entire shoe box full of photos both A1 and A3 variants . Plus my dad as a reference. And yes he took part in reforger 84 and 85
