I would like to take a minuet to reflect. I spent 25 years with the NYPD and worked every New Years Eve except 2 the year that I was actually in the academy 1987 into 88 and the year my beautiful daughter was born 1995 into 96. Yes she was a Christmas baby 
So now that I am retired I really don't know how to celebrate as a civilian
Going to a friends house for dinner and cards and some
With that said I would like to wish everyone here a Happy and Safe New Year and please do not drive if you have been drinking but enjoy the night
