TIP FOR ALL,
Aircraft and armor, and general modelling tip. When using any putty ie: sqadron, auto putty etc. I use auto galzing putty(the red kind). After the sanding and touch up is complete, you can seal the putty to get the same paint finish on plastic and putty, if you shoot a couple light coats of AeroGloss sanding sealer over the finished area.
The sanding sealer can be found in the RC plane section of your hobbyshop.
The Rocket guys use this product as well, as do the RC guys to seal the balsa or bass wood grain for a smooth finish.
I've done this continuously and so far so good. Just be careful of the wetness of the application, because the sealer is Laquer based and it will melt the plastic if too wet. Todd

CSCH,
I have used the sanding sealer on squadron, Tamiya, and testors so far. With no bad results or reactions. Todd
