Good mail order companies.

Since I am land locked here in Wyoming I depend on mail order for all of my modeling needs. We don't have any good shops anywhere near me. The closest one is more than a two hour drive away and their prices are too high to make it worth the trip. I have dealt with Squadron/Signal over the years and also some private vendors such as M.J. Rudy and have been happy with them. However I would like to hear from you guys about which companies you have had good luck with. Thanks :-)

Hi. R and J Products out of Washinton State. Just sort of a mom and pop outfit, but they know their stuff all the way around. Great shipping too.

One of my favorite sources for Roden / Toko / other Eastern European kits is
HobbyTerra
Their prices are excellent, and unlike many other places they don't try to pad profits with shipping charges.
Recommended!

I have used a half-dozen different supplies and hands down the best service & fastest shipping is Squadron. You can spend all your time price shopping or you can model, is the way I figure it. No matter what I do, I'll always manage to find a cheaper price after I've ordered from somewhere else, so I don't lose much sleep over it.

Hate to sound like an ad , but Mission Models is my first choice. Ordered from them 6 times now and everything has arrived in 3 days or less.

Just got my package from Mission Models. I called Jon on Monday (about 6pm my time/3pm his). They had the 3 items I wanted, and I got them 2 days later in Michigan.

Once again thanks guys. I will have to check all of them out. I have used Squadron for years and have always been happy with them. However I figured that it wouldn't hurt to see what else is out there. Thanks again for the info. #:-)

Here's where I've been going lately....E-Bay. For small things or rare things I generally prefer Great Models. They are slower than Molasses in the winter but their prices are usually the lowest. E-bay is where I go for big ticket items, like 350 scale ships, and the tank kits I buy.
