Sharing a build on a theoretical fully enclosed German WWII armored recovery vehicle.
An imaginary Bergejadgpanther that I classify as a Sd. Kfz, M88.
I feel this would have been a natural design extension of the standard Bergepanther if the war had lasted longer and it had become more necessary to recover damaged AFV's while under fire. a.k.a. The modern day M88

Interesting idea project. Seems feasible

Of course this all starts with a Jadgpanther, in this case one from Italeri then add the rear spade and entire winch assembly from the Italeri Bergepanther. Correct all the problems of the Italeri winch and install. The forward spade is one heavily modified from the Tamiya Famo and finally the boom is scratch built.

The boom can actually be broken down and laid back along the sides of the vehicle for transport movements. The small jib crane can be repositioned to the vehicle roof which is necessary to break down and stow the main straight leg crane. The two stair steps in the center of the tool crib are also necessary in order to reach the main boom when leaned back to break it apart for stowing.
