Hi. Mine area is a mess, organized to some extent, but still a mess just the same. Stuff everywhere. In the middle is a 1/72 scale Morser Karl by Hasegawa. Very nice little model too. Have one of the R.R. cars all done and am just about to finish up the gun unit itself in a day or so, provided Mother Nature doesn't let it get too cold out in the garage, that is. Hoping I can get those d---- rubber band tracks together, painted and installed on this thing without too much trouble.

Around the outside of the central work area are various pieces of one of the Trumpeter K5 R.R.-- cars-brake units, comparssed air tanks, etc. Got a little tired of working on this model, so I just boxed up the spures and such and put it up for the time being till I get the urge to paint these extra pieces on the bench.

Also on one side there is Dragon's Elefant that is getting along pretty well and is almost baically done. Just got in a couple sets of Friulmodel tracks--one for this model and another for Dragon's Nashorn, so I want to get these together and on the vehicles as soon as the Karl gets basically done. Hopefully all three of these will get done before cold weather shuts me down and I have to gather up all my Polly S paints and move them into the house till spring.

Things are getting kind of crowded out there, but I really seem to enjoy this hobby, even through my stuff isn't that good when I get done with it. The time spent on this hobby, along with the Zololf, seems to be keeping me on an even keel, so that is what's important in the end.

Take care, sgirty #:-)

Too much stuff on my bench ... actually a lot of it is in drawers awaiting the next installment of work;
Italeri M32, awaiting final weathering. Corpus figure "US mechanic" to be added.
Italeri M7 priest, built, 1 kit figure and 1 resination figure almost painted for it.
Italeri M4A1, awaiting final weathering. Kit figure almost painted for it.
AFV M88 75% built.
Revell M88 75% built
Dio for Operation Cover-up. This was made using a base from Keith Magee, and I will be writing a review/article of the base and the dio when finished.
Italeri Bergetiger, 30% built. Had to build a little to break the painting blues!!
Dream catcher 1/16 figure and verlinden 1/16 flak 38 for a second operation cover up dio. Cleaned away casting blocks.

Im actually enjoyng myself at the moment. I finished up a lot of old projects all summer and now have mostly "fresh" subjects on the go.

Jeff:

A completed T34-85 waiting on Friul tracks.
A dio/display base for the T34-85 is in progress, (very very early stages however)
4 German figs for inclusion in the above dio/display.

Next to the model bench---a pile of unbuilt kits new in box waiting to be built--lol

1/48 P-51D 'Old Crow'
-Last night I spent most of the evening masking and painting certain panels magnesium as opposed to the overall alluminum finish. I just attached the landing gear and their drying now. Partial invasion stripes and anti-glare olive drag on the nose are next.

1/32 P-47 Bubbletop
-Just glued the fuselage together a couple nights ago. Still a long way to go. Natural Metal Finish.

1. Airfix 1/76 scale M551 AARV Sheridan. Some detail scribed in, stretched sprue panel lines added, 152mm gun tube rebuilt with styrene rod, mesh added to engine intake grills. Road wheels still need to be reworked to represent a production vehicle as well as a new searchlight scratchbuilt.

2. Esci 1/72 scale PzKpfw IV Ausf. G with Eduard PE. Replaced the commander's hatch, engine intakes and using the photo etch turret schutzen. Vinyl tracks are some of the worst I've seen on a Braille scale kit. The kit is not worth buying Eduard PE tracks for, I'm hoping I can get a later issue one or Italeri one cheaply for the link & length track. For less than the price of PE tracks, I can buy a superior Revell PzKpfw IV kit. This is my test kit for miniature German camouflage pattern painting with an airbrush so I don't want to dump too much time or effort into it. Lost a little turret part and someone from Missing Links mailed me a replacement one.

3. DML 1/72 scale Sd.Kfz 184 Elefant. It is "on deck" and I will start some cutting while I await for detail items to dry on the Sheridan. This will be my quick slammer kit. Contemplating the small squiggle camouflage pattern. I wonder if I can get my airbrush to paint near pencil thin lines, hence the testing of the scheme with the Esci kit.

4. Revell 1/72 scale PanzerHaubitze 2000 with Eduard PE. Got bumped to fourth place when I bought the DML Elefant since that looks to be a quick OOB build. A lot of detail is packed into these Revell 1/72 scale kits.

There's this little person in my brain that keeps a lookout for when I might be finishing something. It's then that he starts to jump up and down shouting "start that one now...No...don't finish it.......that one...THAT ONE!
Consequently, Marder IIIM, Famo & trailer, Hummel, Hornisse, several figures, LOADS of bases, Dukw x 2, Skoda staff car, Tiger, did I mention loads of bases?
AND Telford is in 2 weeks.
Life is way, way too short.

I have several models lurking there waiting to be completed. But the one I'm actually working on is the Dragon Panzer III H. And I may get it finished within the week.

Sabot The old 72 scale bug really got ya, didn't it. I have finished the ambulance from the old Airfix Emergency Set and have a few more waiting, including the Sheridan.
Post some pics for us when you finish yours. Maybe it will get me inspired.

LOL...how much time do you have on your hands to read about my unfinished kits?

My biggest problem is the second I find myself not being pleased with something that I have done, I lose interest and the kit gets put aside. Here is a list of models that I someday might actually finish:

Trumpeter S-tank - really I am almost done with this one.
Tamiya Sdkfz 223 - same as above
Tamiya M5 Stuart - same as above
ICM Panzer II - painted the base color
DML SU-100 - almost done
DML Maus - painted the base color
Trumpeter Type 83 - chassis interior painted
CMK Panzer 35(t)- still in construction
DML StuG IV - still in costruction

Ahhhh...the list could go on and on, but it would get boring!

A 1/48 Hasegawa F15E
An AMT/ERTL TIE Fighter (2 TIEs in the box kit)

This just In:
a unanimous verdict from the Armorama Wives & Widows Club:
"Folks working more than two kits at a time, must finish all of thier open kits before being allowed to start a new one. In exchange the wifes and widows will return/refund their excess clothes, shoes."

In between still trying to finish the kitchen remodel I have the following kis awaiting attention.

Tamiya Sdkfz 251/1. This was supposed to have been for Barbarossa but the kitchen got in the way. Just about done, except for appying mud and extra gear and such.

Tam. M13/40. I applied the decals last night but they didn't stick well. I think I need to take them off and put another coat of future down then reapply. Thanks to Scioccia I have two sets.

Tam. Bren Carrier forced recon. Pretty much built and base coat applied.

Tam. SAS Jeep. The jeep itself is built but I've got a LOT of Jerry cans to build since the ones in the kit are lousy.

Italeri M7 Priest. This one is more off than on. I've built about 70% of the main gun and just started putting the hull together. Lots of finicky parts in that gun and it's been a little booring.
