During af build of af diorama, I tried to use Vallejo's Still Water product. I mixed it with a bit of paint from thier own range of paints. After leaving it to dry for 24 hours, it was cracked in the middle when I returned to the build.
Any ideas to what I have done wrong or?

Either:
too thickly applied, should be done in 1-2mm layers
or:
a chemical reaction with what you mixed in it or with what it was poured over?

The problem might have been the thickness of the layers. Thanks Jon.
