I bought these AFV Panzer III and IV Tracks. What do you guys think of it. The box says metal but they are not metal, they are plastic. I think its misleading, have any you ever used them?

I'm no fan of AFV Club tracks, but I must defend them as to be misleading. The box states what type of metal the tracks would be made from, if they were real. This is reinforced by the painting instructions calling for "steel". Nice job on the assembly. I have a set that I got halfway through and gave up on. The connecting pins were too flimsy and kept snapping off.

I don't know... I think I'd have to agree with David about the misleading box. The way "steel" is thrown into the main title would cause me to think that they are metal tracks (after all, all real tracks are steel), as opposed to plastic ones.

To be honest guys i wouldn't have believed these tracks were steel right from the get go ...as someone who works with steel on a regular bases making tracks that small in steel would be a massive undertaking ,,but if they had advertised them as metal then that would be a totally different story ,Matt nailed it with his description . We have all seen track sets advertised as rubber block type but not once have we been caught out cause they didnt have real rubber one them so i am surprised that this has caught out people .
