Sitting in Union County New Jersey about 50 miles north of where the eye will come ashore.Away from the coastal flooding and storm surge, but heavy wind and rain, loss of power will be a concern.Just waitng and hoping for the best,2nd time in 14 months.

Who else is in the target zone ? How bad do you expect it to be ?

I'm in Adams County, PA. Right in the middle of the current forecast path. If the wind forecasts are correct, it could be pretty bad out here. Keep safe.

What a storm. To the east there was 10 inches of rain and high winds. To the west they're calling for 2 feet of snow and high winds. I'm in Harford County, Md. and we were lucky. We got some rain and wind but nothing like they were forecasting. I saw the pics from Jersey and Manhattan. They looked like what we dealt with back in '03 when Isabel roared through. Hang tough guys and stay safe.

I live in Keyport N.J. the beginning of the Jersey Shore. Sandy really did a number on us'Finally got my power back after four days. My family and I are okay. The town is a mess. we have three marinas in town. boats were floating down the main street.
