Does anybody know what vehicle this is? It appears to be a saharina base. Has to be in North Afrika, judging by the sand rails.

Hi Matt,
I am no expert, but it looks to me like an AB41/42 with 47/32 anti-tank gun. An Italian reconnaissance vehicle fitted with a 47mm A/T gun. Italeri have released
a kit of the vehicle.
cheers

Hi David, my Italian is next to non-existent, but I believe the description reads that it has a 20mm gun.... but I may be wrong.
I do believe you get the kewpie doll for the identification, though.

Um - the Italeri box-art drawing shows the front (with spare wheel), while your pic is from the rear. Look at the parts for the engine deck on the sprues. David got it spot on...
As for the Italian text, it says there were two versions, the first armed with a 20mm and the second with the 47mm. It looks like the 47mm also got a machine gun. Definitely in N Africa in that photo.
