Thanks for the link. I personally haven't decided between 1/72 and 1/48. I like the greater detail of the 1/48, but definately enjoy the price of the 1/72 better. Right now doing a 1/72 hellcat as practice for a 1/48...is that crazy?

For me the big advantage of AC in 1:72 is that you can have a lot more models than in 1:48
in the same space.
For armor kits I think that 1:72 is too little, specially the figures.

I rediscovered the joys of 1/72 scale armor last year. The current batch of Revell of Germany kits are outstanding. I think one or two of the earlier kits were ex-Matchbox kits, but the newer ones are of higher quality than Revell's large scale armor.

Their modern 1/72 scale armor can't be beat! Add to it the release of the former Esci kits in Italeri boxes, and it will be real easy to do nice kits in 1/72 scale.

I agree with Sabot, the quality achieved by Revell Germany in their armor kits in 1:72 is outstanding. Also in some of their AC kits the quality is superior, for example I personaly think that their Me 262 A-1A is the best in the market, also the FW 190 A serie is very, very good.

Maybe we can convince Jim to have a Braille scale links page. Here are some of the ones I visit:

Hola a los Argentinos
I like 1:72 figures and IMHO Esci figures are the absolute best: thx to Italeri for producing them again!!!
