It looks like they have added a virus/malware scanner to their site so I think that issue should clear up for you (and it is likely safe to click 'proceed anyways').

I will tell all of you (as a Web professional) that this kind of infection is on the rise. We had several pages that Google was saying had a problem. They had links to IMAGES on a site/server that had known problems. Not exactly a real threat but apparently Google thought so. I worked with another Wordpress based site that did have a serious problem in that an infection was indeed uploaded to their server and made several pages that would prompt users to download new software because they were infected, etc. Base rule of thumb... never download or install anything from a popup called "Windows Defender" or anything you don't 100% recognize. If you don't have good anti-virus/malware software go to AVG ( http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage ) and get their FREE version. It's great.

Cheers,
Jim

We have run our site through every online website scanner we can find and all report our site to be clean. Examples you can run yourself to see:

http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/...uebrothers.com
http://www.avgthreatlabs.com/siterep...www.avg.com.au
http://siteinspector.comodo.com/public/reports/6338028
plus others

We have a real time scanner on our site to monitor for stuff like this and this scanner shows us clean as well. We never displayed the "badge" before to show everyone this was there before as we were really doing it originally for our self to monitor the site, but to let everyone see, we have made it now visible and shown at the top left and bottom left side of the page so you can click on it and check the results.

Also. we (and an independent html programmer) have checked the code and there is nothing there that does not belong.

This is what I can report to you. If there is a virus on our site, we cannot find it nor any online website scanner that I can find.

If you want to bypass the home page which seems to be the source of the issue for some people, you can go to https://store.spruebrothers.com which will take you directly to the store and is completely independently hosted from our home page (www.spruebrothers.com).

The only thing in common for the reports that we have received or seen is that anyone who has run into this is using IE (particularly IE8) as their web browser. We have not had any reports of this from user of Firefox or Chrome.

We have not been able to duplicate this on any of my office or home computers using IE, FireFox and Chrome. We run MS Security Essentials and McAfee between home and office PCs.

Also, we had our webhost of our home page (Network Solutions) check for any malware and their review our site did not find anything either.

If you have windows 7 i would recommend Avast http://www.avast.com/ just as good as AVG but less resource intensive on your system.

As far as "free" goes, you may want to try Advanced System Care(located here: http://advanced-system-care.reviews-downloads.net/ . One review states that it will eventually render your computer unusable. This is not true. It does create some bogus issues to try and get you to buy the full version and may be difficult to remove from your computer. I have nothing but good things to say about it. Easy to install. Easy to use. Can be scheduled to scan your computer at regular intervals.
