I ended up with a Academy M1025 Humvee and have been looking at reviews for that series which leaves me with some questions.
What other Humvees are from Academy besides the M966, M997, M998 and M1151?
Is the chassis from the M1151 the same as the earlier kits?

The Academy HMMWVs are pretty good. Until the newer Tamiya HMMWVs (M1025 & 1046), Academy's were considerd the best on the market. They are still superior to Tamiya's in many ways. Most notably on the underside details, Tamiya's underside is bare whereas Academy's have lots of details there.
The M1151 is totally new tooled. I don't think it has any of the same parts as the original ones.

You make some interesting points Gino. I had never closely compared the Academy kits to the Tamiya kits because I figured Tamiya was superior in all respects. I'm curious now and will be taking a more detailed look at both.
Michael, Gino is also correct that the M1151 is a completely new kit.

Besides needing the instruction sheet for the M1025, is there sagged tires for the older series of Academy Humvees?

I have extra sets of Academy M1025 instructions. I could send you a set for free if you want.
