Yep, great time.

This is my second trip to AMPS in the last 3 years, and it seemed to me it was a bit smaller this time. I was there on Saturday from 11-1. Can anyone confirm there were more models and vendors on friday than on Saturday? I saw alot of judging going on so I know I missed some that way too, but it just seemed to me that the show was pretty much cleaned out by the time I got there Saturday. Six hours of driving for me..... But, Lees Hobby shop in New London is always part of the drive too

I understand that one of the bigger vendors,the guy that's usually on the right wall when you walk in was on vacation,he usually occupies that whole wall,so that accounted for a big hole in the vendor section,if he was there it would have been a jammed vendor room

Did anyone get any really good deals? I didnt see to many myself, but I am not a WW2 guy. Lots of diorama making stuff and figures, and AK had a great little set up that I enjoyed. I walked out only spending 50 dollars and all of it was at AK table.

I dropped $70.00 on a DML BTR-80 and a Meng pickup with the AA gun,and some AK stuff

I got great deal on new Badger Krome airbrush well below market price from AK guys.

I just got home from AMPSEAST.
Had a great time.

Just thought I'd drop in and say thank you to everyone who supported both Armor Farm and Scale Model Addict Magazine.

It was fantastic getting to meet so many great guys, the 14 hour drive was totally worth every mile.

So many amazing builds are great people. Definately on the todo list for years to come.

There were actually more vendors on Saturday than Friday (some people's work schedules would not allow for the their attendance on Friday). Also, as far as models went, we were up over 210 models when 2011 was under 190.

Great time at AMPS !! A big thanks to all the boys from AMPS for putting on such a great event.

Thanks also goes out to all who stopped by to meet with me and meet my family at the Redfroghobbies table.
It was great to put a face to many of my customers and have a chance to talk with you.

I am so amazed at the quality of the builds....you guys are amazing
