tonight on the BEEB theres a program all about the victoria cross and a story of one of its winners who won it during Market Garden also shows were the metal for it is stored
in BAD Donnington

I saw it, it was a good program with some neat original footage.

Major Cain certainly deserved his VC. He must have been a strong man. Firing a mortar like a gun is tough, but doing it wounded is exceptional.

I saw it too..... good coverage !

For those who missed it I'll make it up with you guys from abroad........ During the RMG Campaign we'll be visiting Oosterbeek with those who want to come with us for an Armorama Field trip.

We'll make an extended video coverage on Video and DVD, including all the places the forces defended during September 1944.... I'll let you know how you can get your hands on that one when the time comes.
