1/24 Scale Hawker Hurricane MKII Trop built from the Trumpeter kit. What you see is what you will be buying!
This is probably Trumpeters best kit ever and this was built by me John"Tigger" Wilkes for a magazine article.

A little about me. I write for several magazines regularly and have written for most in my time in this hobby. The article for this built model was never published, however, I did enter it into several model competitions and it won several gold awards including the Trumpeter sponsored class at the IPMS Nationals in 2007. Having been a modeller for a number of years I have competed in top level competitions these include the IPMS Nationals Scale Model World amongst others.
I have won regularly at National and international level for a number of years this has included IPMS Belgium and IPMS USA. I judge at the same level so I am fully aware of what is being looked for in a good model and ensure that I try to include those things in my work such as this model you see here.

In essence this model was built from the box with no modifications apart from the areal wire.The model is painted with Gunze acrylics and weathered to look like the real thing.

The reason for sale is that is is simply too big for my display cabinets and does not fit with my collection of 1/32 scale kits.

This is a unique chance to own some of my work as I do not normally sell any of my items or do commissions! Added to which this is the only 1/24 scale kit I have ever built and have no plans to build any more at this time.

I have never sent a built model through the post before so I will ensure that it is well (double) boxed and packed. I will also consider delivering it to any buyer up to 100 miles and also passing it to you at One of the model shows I attend or you can come to collect in South Devon.
