So, my brother-in-law has a doctorate in genetics and is a professor. He has taken an interest in my work. Picked up a couple of snaptights at Nats, as a gift. It took him most of a day and finally a hammer to finish the kit. He gave the remains to my niece and nephew. The best part is the description on the kit read "for 6+ years old". I have two more kits to give him, but I am going to switch the instructions around. Is this funny or am I cruel?

With my warped sence of hummor I'd get some directions in Greek and swap a sprue from each kit. I did say warped didn't I. Just for laughs, priceless!!!

Classic. Had me chuckling. It seems the more the brains the less able to tackle simple problems. A bit like sending an intellectual into a room full of shovels and telling him to take his pick. He'd spend ages in there looking for one.

He is a man that has never used a screwdriver. At least he got the principle of the hammer down.

All joking aside .... I bought one of these snap-tite kits for my 9 y.o. daughter of a Star wars fighter ... and ended up snapping it together myself as she couldnīt. The fit was really bad and it wanīt easy even for me!
They may be cheap to attract kids, but the reality is, they probably turn most off. Its better to buy something a little more expensive, that can go together without applid maths and science!
