anyone have a good way to make a radiator core more detailed than kit supplied? top & bottom metalwork doesn't seem too difficult, but in between is no man's land.

i've thought about wrapping screen around a plug, and have seen model railroaders drill stacked styrene strips and slide wire through, but thought there must be a better way.

something i've never seen in aftermarket parts.

also, a good source of brass tubing website?
