There is the Britax or other water filters method I was shown by Ian Sadler
You can buy spare water filter cartridges from most supermarkets and open the plastic box to find thousands of ceramic beads of varied sizes that can be glued easily.
Very simple method

Somebody(I can't remember who) used a center punch(any pointy metal object will do) on a piece of wood. Lined up something like 50 rivets. You can make more. ran a light film of resin over it and let it set. Pop out the resin, a little trimming and you are done.

AFAIC, I'm about to need near one hundred rivets to fit my Wolf truck.
I was told this method I did not test yet.
You will need a very small drill and so many pins that you need rivets.
the method is ti cut the pin just a few millimeters below its head and to drill the kit where you want the rivet to take place.
Then, you put the remainig headed pin in the hole and glue it with cyano.
That's all
I hope my English will be understandable...

Finding pins without eyes or some sort of plastic ball is quite difficult. I'm no seamstress and am not sure where to locate that type of pin.

Really ?
So, French dressmakers may be different of the others because in France, in all supermarkets, in the haberdasher's department ( notions store department ?), we can find boxes of 250, 500, 750 and maybe 1.000 pins with neither holes nor colored plastic heads.
I bought a 750 box last week to make the rivets on my Wolf truck
EDIT : If you want to get a box, just tell me...

I recently have been using rivets from Tichy, and they're great. Plastic, can use your normal plastic cement, and relatively inexpensive. For the smaller sizes, you can get 200 for ~$3.

Scroll about 75% of the way down to see lots of rivets.
My local hobby shop carries a small assortment, but you can mail order them as well.
I personally try to avoid cyno glue wherever I can, so this works out well for me, plus is ZERO drilling, and goes much faster.

Indeed.
It seem to be really efficient Jess !
Do you please know what should be the size of the rivets for a 1/35 model and the size for a 1/24 or 1/25 model ?
Thanks a lot for the tip.
(I gonna check if it's shippable to France !)

Matt,
It's a Brita water filter, the kind that snap into the Brita pitcher. Available at WalMart, or if you're lucky, a neighbor uses a Brita pitcher and can give you a used one free. If you cut it open there are hundreds of thousands of little plastic pellets, most but not all usable as round rivets.

Sorry, I never saw this response. What size rivets will depend on what you're doing. I used a couple different sizes on my M3 Grant.

Matt,
Here's a review of Archer's rivet decals, including a link to an active build here on the site that demonstrates them:
