Some of you might remember me from a long time ago, but real life has keept me away from this place as well as modelling. But now I'm starting to get my life back (with other words, my daughter have learned to operate the remote control on her own...) So now I thought I would try to do a comeback.

So, to end things up, a big hi to everyone!

Welcome back Rebecca, now you know once you have THE SCALE BUG, it never ever goes away, there is no cure, just grin and bear it with the rest of us. and, you will never look at life the same; everytime you shop or walk you will see things and think, can I use that for this project

Welcome Back! So many of us have had to take years (sometimes decades) off of the hobby to deal with life. Most of us know exactly where you are coming from. So welcome back and take a look around. Much has changed in recent years and there are many new directions and many new kits being offered these days.

best of luck,
Jim

My main subject is modern figures, not that I'm a very good painter, but it's just for fun and relaxing. One or two occasional modern vehicle as well...

So true Bob. I'm quite relieved really, that thanks to Armorama I know there are not only others like me, but we are strong in numbers .
I just dropped off Jr at University with all the freshman madness of regi$tration, hou$ing, book$, and travel. But you struck a chord with your reply to Becky. During my University visit I found, on the ground naturally, a small circular mirror I can use on a diorama I'm determined to finish! woo-hoo! Regards Dave
