Mountain Empire Model Railroaders in Johnson City, Tennessee.

1st Annual Modeling Contest is now open and will continue to accept entries through Saturday September 15th .

The Mountain Empire Model Railroaders (MEMRR), in conjunction with the George L. Carter Railroad Museum on the East Tennessee State University campus, are presenting their first annual model railroad modeling contest.

The overall theme of the contest will be weathering.

Prizes will be awarded.

You may submit as many entries in each category as you want.

ENTRIES
All contest entries must be delivered to the Carter Railroad Museum and all entries must be accompanied by a completed contest application form.
Contestants may bring their weathered models to the railroad museum between 5 and 8 PM on Thursday nights or during public operating hours on Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Entry forms for the modeling contest will be made available to the public on the MEMRR website at www.memrr.org and on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 3:00pm at the George L. Carter Railroad Museum, 100 Ross Drive, on the ETSU campus or during business hours at Hobbytown USA in Johnson City. Club members can also pick up entry forms on Thursdays (work nights) at the museum.
