Mikeli:
I used roll models once for an order and noticed the same thing. I think it's just to cover their butts. As I recall it didn't take that long at all. I think I had the products within a week. Now, I am in the United States, so I don't know if that would make things different. Shipping for you would be longer, but I imagine it won't take 2 weeks to actually pick your order.

Some places are middlemen - they don't carry much stock (if any at all) and simply place an order with their distributor when you order it. I don't know if Roll Models works this way, but when I ordered from them, it took them several weeks to "pick" the order, before shipping it. At least Squadron / GreatModels ship in a decent timeframe.

I have used Roll Models many times in the past, and they have always been very reliable. The stuff you order may not always arrive very quickly, but it will get there.

Roll Models as I understand it from other modelers, does not have a lot of stuff in stock. They ordered it from their supplier after you order it. That's just their way of doing business. If you like it, keep using them, if not, use someone else who only lists what they actually have in stock.
