Thanks for the welcome lads!

I am also a complete noob in modelling too,I have recently started working on a KV1 1/6 rc tank as I did not like the factory shiner plastic, since doing this project it has made me realise how interesting and rewarding modeling is,
Military replicas float my boat but I am interested in all areas of modelling.
