I think it would be a great idea to have a space in the forums to practice posting pics, I am still trying to figure out how to post pics and i occasionally come across posts from others with the same problem.
it would be awesome to have some where to get this right with out taking up space in the regular forums when trying to do this.
for example I can now do this http://gallery.kitmaker.net/showphoto.php/photo/378031
but I still haven't figured out this
anyway just an idea

From the link you posted.
Right click on the photo, and from the box that appears select "properties"
A box will appear giving details of the photo.
Highlight the "address URL", and copy the text.
http://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/27610/DSCF0614_600x800_.jpg
You then need to type img at the beginning and /img at the end of that. These are called "image tags", and need to have [ and ] around them.
So its [image tag] address [/image tag]
Posting a picture from photobucket is even easier, as the IMG code is already shown and simply double clicking on that copies it, so its just a matter of pasting that onto your thread.
Hope this helps.

Not a bad Idea about a testing area for photos Frazer
Good guide from Nige but there is an even easier way of doing it
These are the steps to put your photos in a post.
1: Click on the thumbnail in the gallery and a big pic will open
2:beneath the pic will be a line marked Linked thumbnail click on the icon at the end of the line and another line of text will open marked HTML code
3:copy and paste this line of text into your post and the pic will appear when you click on the reply button
Voila!
