Jeff,I think that is Kitmaker looking for advertisers for the site.Turning it off would defeat its purpose.

Hi Jeff,
It's not actually flashing. Plus you only see it once a day when the menu cookie timer expires, then the site selection area is shown for less than 10 seconds before auto-collapsing. After that you will only see it when switching sites of course. So in reality it is not very intrusive is it?

The only reason it is there currently is to show a potential advertiser what the feature looks like, etc.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,thanks for your reply.the problem is every time I change pages, like changing forums,or changing threads,I get a breif flash of the banner,it's no big deal really, just distracting.I let the banner close by it self, and it doesn't seem to make any difference how many times I visit the site.Jeff T.

I actually started noting that it does appear very briefly between some page changes. Probably something I can fix.

Most likely once the ad is featuring some of the new kits/projects by a new manufacturer we are all familiar with, it will be less 'flashy' and more model related.

I will look at seeing if I can fix that issue of it showing when it's suppose to be hidden though.

Thanks,
Jim
