I am in need of a set of Zvesda's cossacks or 2 from the set, kit #3579. Can't find them in stock anywhere or on e-bay. Would like to keep the same manufacture to keep the dio pretty much the same as far as size and looks so, if you have a set or 2 figures with horse's and equipment I am willing to purchase them for reasonable price plus shipping of course. Thanks in advance to any one who can help with this as the dio is at a stand still till then. bob d.

Bob if I remember correctly the Italeri set consists of 2 of the four horses and figures from the Zvezda set.

Hey Darren, yes, it is 2 of the 4 from Zvesda. I found them at lucy models. Will order the 4 figure set as you can cut up the horses from the saddle front or back and end up with different posses. And they line up perfect with what ever posse you want. Same with the figures. Only problem with either set is that the equipment doesn't cover each figure. There are only 2 rifles and cossack knifes for 2 figures (in the Zvesda set) so casting is nessesary if you want to complete them. The knifes wont be hard, as only one side shows, but the rifles will be another matter. The base is 8 sided and messures 5 inchs across. Am putting 10 mounted figures on it with trees. Objective is to creat is to have them bursting out of the woods in a charge during the battle of Moscow. It's very crowded and dramatic but it gives the illusion of a large body of calvary in the woods charging out to do battle while the enemy fires on them. During the battle 40,ooo went into battle and within a half hour only 10,000 were left alive. Desperate messures for a desperate time. Even has a scratch built hawk launching itself from the trees following them. With all the horse colors and the flowing red capes it is very action packed.
