I no longer try to post pics on here. Its just too tedious of a process. Go to kitmaker and blah blah blah. Sorry. Ive been spoiled by the facebook way of adding pics which makes it a more friendly way of doing it. Thats just my opinion.

Quoted Text

well, back to the drawing board. jt

You actually got it right but you have an extra HTTP in there

there is however an easier way of doing it
These are the steps to put your photos in a post.

1: Click on the thumbnail in the gallery and a big pic will open
2:beneath the pic will be a line marked Linked thumbnail click on the icon at the end of the line and another line of text will open marked HTML code

3:copy and paste this line of text into your post and the pic will appear when you click on the reply button
Voila!

hey, at least i got a little blue thingy! Man, oh ma, i can do everything EXCEPT get the pic to post. the gallery thing is tedious, to be sure, but at least i can get it done. i have followed everyone's suggestions and still i messup. so i must be doing something really dumb. i think, several people have mentioned "location" but i have no location on my dropdown menu- just the regular copy, paste, etc. very odd. but, never say die. maybe if i hold my mouth acertain way... click on your profile name , upper right of this page. Go in there , you will see "my gallery photos" .You should be in kitmaker gallery, if you have to register , then register with same login info as Armorama, its just easier.
Go to "My Albums",click on "create new album", name it whatever . On your PC resize your pictures to 650x488.
Now click on add photos within "your new gallery". Once your picture is uploaded , right click on your image, in the drop down menu select "view image" . It will then show you the picture by itself with it's own url in the address bar. Highlight that url address , right click & select copy from the menu.
Go to the forums , create a new post , select the image blue icon in this html creating box thingy where you type your message. After you hit the image icon , it will automatically add this.

Highlight the inside address between the brackets & paste your photo url address in there.
Or just type the code by yourself

that's it...your picture will show up.
That is basic HTML code for adding images to HTML pages

Crap, the html codes won't show up in this post lol...sorry
