hello all,

My name is Frederic, alias Bosscat, 38 years and I live on the side of Reims, France.
Firstly, sorry for my english, google translate help me.
I am pleasantly surprised at the number and quality of the whole site, congratulations!

Well, a little history of my passion for the world of models.

My first model that I've mounted was a Caravelle at Heller, I was a kid. Obviously, not over and more glue on the plane between the parts ...
Shortly after, in 1984 I think, I came across Matchbox and Airfix kits. Some planes and some armor in 1/76, I was reminded of them:

After I did a bit of everything and anything, an ferrari F40, an F14 Monogram etc. .. I started a Super Hornet Heller that I never finished (the number of seats...).
I ended my turn to military models of WWII. More specifically and as many of you to the German material. I started with Italieri (puma, Kubel and swimmwagen ...) and I clutched Tamiya. Slowly because it was not given to me at the time. Mounted models at the time, STUG italieri III, Flak88 tamiya, Tigre2, panther, SdKfz 222 Halftrack U.S. etc ... I made a bit of weathering a little snow and wear / corrosion etc. but I was never happy with the result. I used only the paintbrush and Humbrol.
I stop at 87 to a very long period RC modelling.

Many years after, i've seen in a model shop a new brand, Dragon. Somewhat interested, I took a Nashorn. I bought the #3 SteelMasters, the review was very recent ^ ^ I've choosed the theater of my Naschorn, East Prussia, winter 44/45. I really struggled trying to make a decorative winter to white etc. ... look at my work, not very well...

As you can see, the realization is not really good, especially compared to what I can see on the net and on this site

For months, I look in many forums and I notice the quality of the word of modellers. I notice also that a quantity of product improvement kits, paint and brands are unknown to me now. Stitches in Time, I am surfing the Net looking for full information on the evolution of military modelling. I realized that full of techniques for painting etc. were unknown to me.

In september, I decided to make my first panzer for many years.

Voilą!
