Looking for interest in starting a military modeling group in Snohomish county, WA (Arlington, Marysville, Everett, Lynwood, Lake Stevens and surrounding areas). Focus will be any military subjects. Local IPMS chapters are a good distance from my location. Will coordinate a central meeting location like local hobby shops(Galaxy Hobbies, Hobbytown USA, etc) if an interest is garnered. Thanks.

Naturally I stumble on this one a year too late. I live in the Everett area, but I'm TDY in Portland. Your're right, NWSM and IPMS Seattle are a long ways away. And it's hard to give up a Saturday morning when the Honey-do list is several pages long.

Have you checked in with Galaxy in Lynnwood? Seems to me that they may have some type of group, I know they do Sci Fi contests. Hobby Town at Everett Mall might have something too.

Howdy neighbor. Just wanted to let you know, that I live in the Area. Hoodsport, WA up at Lake Cushman. Wouldn't be able to make the meetings though.
