I started to build the revell Mig 21PF Kit and it is rally giving me a fit. I dry fit the fuselage halves seeing no issues I moved ahead trying to mount the cockpit into the plane. The directions are vague at best. The Directions show the cockpit to mount in into the side tabs but it make it sit too low and creates gaps. Moving it up lie it looks in other reviews and pics makes the halves impossible to join. I sanded again and again and still no luck. The last time I tried I thought I had it but a snap and the Instrument panel was in tiny pieces. Help!!!

You might want to try removing the side tabs. This should allow some wiggle room for the cockpit to fit.
