Hello
I'm interested in scratchbuilding the
Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge that was used on the M60 during the Vietnam War period.
Are there any 1/35 scale plans available.

Not to my Knowledge

A German guy 'upgraded' the Revell 1/40th M48 AVLB to a Bundeswehr M48Ax(?) with a Tamiya M48a3 & scratched the 60' bridge, but doesn't have plans any more....

If you find some plans I'd like to share... (learning Autocad at the moment... & can get use of a laser cutter.... )

I scratchbuilt on in 1?72 scale a few years ago. I used tome of the plans from the squadron books and I think if you look on line you should be able to find the TM manual for it also

Quick update:
Tankograd Militärfahrzeug 2/2012 as reviewed on this site: Tankograd 2/2012

This has a good few pages of the B/W M48a2 version in colour with a 1/3 page side-on view of the late/Current M48/M60 bridge.
So far, this is the best drawing of this I've seen, but haven't bought it yet, waay too much on.

If anyone has access to the US TM manuals & could point us in the right direction as to which ones would be best for this?

Will keep my eye in here...

If you can find the relevant pages (Not being a US citizen, I have issues accessing this type of materiel) I would be interested in copies of the drawings (with dimensions) object to knock up some blanks in AutoCad... did I mention I got access to a laser cutter...
