Hi all,

Does anyone know who I should call/write to get a replacement piece for my 1/35 M24 Chaffee in the USA? It is the machine gun mount piece.

Thanks,

John

Hello John, Model Rectifier Corp. is the US distributor for Italeri. I have found them to be very helpful in getting replacement parts. Their phone # is (732) 225-2100, and they are located in Edison, NJ. You may have to wait awhile if they have to source the part from Italy, otherwise they are quite prompt. Al

Thanks Al! I am at the point where I am attaching the small parts before painting and started clipping and cleaning the other machine gun parts and then BAM, realize I am missing that one part. So, getting the replacement quickly would be great.

Thanks again.

I contacted them a few years ago for a replacement windshield for a DUKW. They were very prompt and easy to deal with. They sent the part free of charge. You shouldn't have any problems .

Thanks again for the information. I got in touch with them yesterday, they were very nice on the phone. In checking their warehouse, found they don't have the piece I need, so will be getting from Italy. Unfortunately that means 4-6 weeks or so.

But it is in the works, so I am thankful for that.

John
