I have no space for a workshop, which is particularly difficult when it comes to airbrushing. For enamel-based paints I definitely need a spray booth to get rid of the fumes. Can someone recommend a good one that won't break the bank? Thanks.

Do you have a window you can vent through?

Yes, I do have a window I can vent through. Didn't think about that initially.

http://www.amazon.com/Paasche-HSSB-16-13-Hobby-16-Inch-13-Inch/dp/B0054MPHRK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1329939916&sr=8-1

Here's what you want. It includes an adapter for a 4" (~100mm) duct to attach to the back that you would then vent out the window.

Good luck.

I have that same booth (sold in germany as the WilTec420 http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0036SZZVC ) and it is a good kit. The duct that is also sold could be a bit more flexible and I used a second fixing ring to fit duct and "output vent" together. But the booth is big enough to fit a PzH2000 or MiniArts "Hungarian Country house" easily, folds up nicely and it stable/sturdy when unfoldet. The fan is resonably silent and provides a good pull, the turntable is useable.

Only thing is that the booth is BIG with the extra vent kit installed since the output trunc juts out the rear quite a bit and is not flexible there.

You can buy one here.
Model Expo is where the paint booth comes from. However the price has increased from when it was first introduced, from $79 to the present price of $139

HI. that's the booth I got. works great. Hunt around: maybe someone else has it in stock for less. Be careful-- make sure it has the ductwork with it. Some companys sale just the booth and charge extra for the duct work! Good hunting!!

I just got this booth last week. Its also sold as a Paasche booth. just used it today and I gotta say I'm super pleased with the purchase. (bonus is that it folds so small you can put it in a cabinet when not in use).

Shop around, I got mine for $120 (delivered). I've even considered buying a second one as they're designed to be 'daisy chained' into a big booth for larger projects.

Well recommended.

Cheers,
Fred
