Hello fellow scratch builders!I'm building a little vinette of a EA-6B Prowler on an air craft carrier elevator. Now my EA-6B Prowler is in 1/200th scale. So now I have already built the elevator and now I'm thinking about scratch building the aircraft carrier portion where the elevator is positioned.
Now my question to you guys is this, can anyone tell me what the size of the opening is where the aircraft carrier door are?Maybe even what site I could go on for this infomation?
So to make myself clear on what I'm looking for is this, the height and width of the opening where plans get on and off the elevators.
Thank you
casper

You'd be best to ask this question over at Model Shipwrights as this falls in their area of expertise. Very helpful folks over there.
Just did a quick look and AngryDog did a build of the"Big E" Hanger deck:

so I would assume the dimensions must be available somewhere.
HTH.
